ICYMI: A great event hosted at H.O.M.E last Wednesday by MMF (Music Managers Forum) & Music Technology UK, highlighting the many ways that technology can be used to further assist artist managers in the development of their artists.? ? Throughout the night, we heard from MTUK startup members Streamline Media Limited, Vollou and The Pack, each showcasing software capable of assisting music managers in their role. This was followed by a fireside chat chaired by Jonathan Robinson, with contributions from Myradh Cormican and Tom Burris on their personal experiences with technology within their career and how they believe it can be better utilised. ? In addition to these insightful talks, attendees participated in a speed networking session, giving them the opportunity to further understand the potential intersection between tech and artist management. ? It’s events like these that exemplify H.O.M.E's mission to provide space for industry professionals to work alongside one another, enabling them to connect, collaborate and create.

?????????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????????????? ???? ???????????? When we collaborate well, we can achieve things that are beyond any of us. Collaborations and communities can also break down and achieve the opposite effect: animosity and even violence. I've been passionate about how to level up our social skills with or without technology for a while now. And also, how we can use tech and AI to exercise our social muscles, instead of falling into another "Google Maps" trap, where we lose some of our skills (navigation vs. relationship skills) due to outsourcing them to technology. This is the mission of The Third Thing and also ConsonantAI when it comes to using and developing AI for purposes that elevate us, not degrade us. A few months ago, I discovered CMX, a Community of Community Organizers, which proves to be a gold mine of information about how to manage communities. Such as their latest conference, CMX Global (https://lnkd.in/dKWmmzCF). So far I've learned from them: - How to create inclusive communities with a sense of belonging - How to maintain communities in the long run - How to give value that benefits all members I'm learning a lot and trying to implement my learning in the ???????? ?????????????????? ??????????????????, where we keep each other up-to-date on the AI revolution and discuss tools and methods in light of responsible use, so AI and humans develop in harmony. Link to join in the comments!

?????????? ?????? ?????? ???? ???? ???????? ???????? ?????????? ?????? ???????????????? ?????????????????? ????????????? https://lnkd.in/dGdFzxvP My team and I are developing a tool for community organisers, and I would love to hear your feedback to make sure we build something that is genuinely helpful! I'd be curious about your thoughts on the project, especially to the following questions: ???????? ???????????????? ?????????? ?????? ???????? ???? ?????? ???? ?? ???????? ?????????????? ?????? ???????????? ???????????? ????????/???????????????????? ???????? (????????????) ??????????????, ????????????, ???? ????????????????????? --------------------------------------- A bit of context: I've been researching tech-induced isolation and wellbeing and have started a project that, instead of usual tech solutions, aims to offer healthier alternatives to the current digital lifestyle. The project is called The Third Thing, which refers to bringing back shared experiences with people which get lost online but are crucial for having meaningful relationships. Our first project, ???????????????????????? ????, is a Remote Shared Experience Assistant that helps organising remote and offline events. It is an animator/event organiser assistant who is helpful and professional. Friendly but not addictive! At the beginning, it will recommend remote, active shared experiences and give actionable steps for facilitating the event remotely. Later, it will organise events in a shared calendar, facilitate events in real-time, and finally organise meetings, events, and travels. The point is not to digitalise or replace relationships with AI but to use AI and tech for what it is meant for: taking off the burden of repetitive organisational tasks and giving more opportunities to form and maintain human connections. I'm very interested in any feedback and thoughts on this! You can read more in the kickoff article of the project (https://lnkd.in/dFj7rzgZ). You can sign up for the waitlist to be the first one who gets access to our demo and give feedback, so we can make sure to create something that genuinely helps people and society as a whole! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, answers, or if you just want to chat about the topic! --------------------------------------- ?????? ?????????????? ?????????? ?? ?????????????????? ???????? ?????? ???????????? ?????????? ?????? ???????????????? ???? ?????????????? ?????? 5,000 ?????????? ?????? ?????? ?????????????? ???????????? ???? ?????? ???????????????? ?? ???????? ???????????? ???? ???????????????? ????????.

"??????????????, ????????????????, ?????? ?????????????????????????? ???????? ?????????????????? ?????????? ??????????????????????’ ?????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???? ???????? ???? ?????????? ???? ???? ??????????" https://lnkd.in/dVPKpix7 This article reflects on several points we discussed at the Creative AI Picnic (https://lnkd.in/dTgHHsDN)! Some points expressed by artists helped me understand both their perspective and my feelings towards my creative process: - “For many, the meaning and the value of their work is expressed through the process, not incidental to it.” - "There are artists creating powerful work with AI, but Elam argues they do not replace their creative process with a prompt. Instead, their art explores new ways to engage with AI and comment on technology and humanity." AI surfaces such fundamental questions about what it means to be human! I strongly believe in bridging gaps between communities with diverging narratives. Stay tuned for upcoming events by ConsonantAI. I hope to see many of you soon!

I learned so much from the ???????????????? ???? ???????????? last Saturday! We had a diverse group with backgrounds in software, AI engineering, writing, visual arts, economics, mathematics, and music. :) Discussing issues around AI, creativity, and the creative industry can evoke strong feelings. I’m happy to say the event successfully fostered conversation between various perspectives! Some highlighted topics discussed: - Appropriation of art and writing by AI companies - The economic impact of viewing art/design as a product - Focusing on the process of creating art - Is AI democratising art, or does it discourage beginners from developing their craft? - Is it "art" if AI was involved in the process? Thank you for Krisztián Gergely for showcasing his jewellery craft and explaining how he uses AI to learn and test new skills. See the photos. You can follow him on instagram: https://lnkd.in/dr_J78-i

???????????????? ???? ???????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???? ?????? ?????? ???? ???????? ???? ?????? ???? ???????????????? ???????? https://lu.ma/votbc8c1 When I read a book that I resonate with, it feels like I’m in a conversation with a person I (usually) have never met. It may seem like a one-way conversation, but in fact, a good book plants new thoughts in me which will ultimately change what I say, write, and even how I hold myself in life. The book I’ve been reading has also been written by someone whose thoughts were formed and inspired by many they’d read, spoken to, or interacted with via any medium. It’s an indirect conversation among many of us, which is impossible to trace back fully, and perhaps in some cases, it is better not to. When we interact with LLMs, we are also talking to a large part of humanity. But this is a very different, impersonal way of interacting through the filter of aggregated data. In this case, tracing back the source of inspiration requires understanding the training data, the specific algorithm, the optimisation methods, and the business environment. The technology and business behind AI raise a lot of questions related to creativity, the creative industry and our culture. If you are interested in discussing these, come to the Creative AI Picnic this Saturday on the 6th of July at 3 pm on Primrose Hill. RSVP: https://lu.ma/votbc8c1 ... The photo was taken in Regent Park, not too far from the location of the Picnic. By adding my face to the post I'm also trying to "interact" with the algorithm here...

Human beings are wired to comfortably maintain 150 stable relationships. This is called ????????????'?? ????????????, named after British anthropologist Robin Dunbar who found a correlation between primate brain size and average social group size. … Compare this number with the way most of us live now: - More than half of the world's population lives in ?????????? areas (https://lnkd.in/euZmW-CV) - We are connected to millions of people on ???????????? ?????????? each day, spiced with recommendation systems optimised for grabbing our attention It's plausible that this has something to do with the mental health crisis we experience worldwide, and in some regards more so in developed countries (https://lnkd.in/eus-9BaS). I just learned about Dunbar's number from a book called The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, which I highly recommend. Especially to people who are interested in or have ever been affected by mental health problems, and also want an enjoyable, easy-to-read fantasy book. :) … A few months ago, I wrote about my desire to create technology that's pure aim is to help us (re)build and maintain deep connections with each other in this globalised world. A tool that helps us connect with each other even if we are far away (https://lnkd.in/eQyPTrje). Since then, I kicked off The Third Thing project (https://lnkd.in/ed_AYsyy). Many people gave me very useful feedback on it, and I am especially grateful for the immense help from Emile Joubert and Krisztián Gergely in developing our first mini product. And I'm very greatful for József Konczer for contributing his multifarious skillset to the project, as good theorethical physicists do ;) . It's still under development, but more details will come as we progress… Until then, feel free to sign up for the waitlist: https://lnkd.in/drwVXpcb [Photo is my own, of The Library of Trinity College Dublin]
