We are a little late in celebrating a few on our team. Please give a shout-out for the following TG work anniversaries…. Alyssa McCollom is celebrating 8 years and is considered our Operations Accounting Extraordinaire! She has a strong track record of placing #candidates in permanent, #contract, and contract-to-hire roles. Around the office, we tease Alyssa for having things planned down to the minute and being the one who’s asking about lunch the minute the clock hits 11 am. ?? Outside of work, you can find her watching the Astros, traveling with her husband, or being "Aunt Lyssy" to her identical twin nieces! Jeff Wooldridge has been on our direct hire team for 16 years. Wow! He’s built quite a reputation for placing #accounting and #finance candidates within his Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies. He is also very active in The Financial Executive Networking Group in The Woodlands (FENG). He'd love to see you at the monthly meetings and quarterly socials! Jeff and his wife love beaches and snorkeling. Now that they are empty nesters, you can usually find them in the Caribbean or Mexico when not working. Stephan Patsch is one of our Founding Fathers and started up Talance 17 years ago! He is known around here as THE top biller, and we think it’s because the man is never off the phone! He is always looking for ways to work smarter, not harder, and he encourages the rest of us to do the same. He spends his time outside of the office traveling and hanging with his daughters and is known for making friends wherever he ends up! Last but not least, Christina Hernandez has been with us for two years! She specializes in the business development side of our #IT division and has already proven herself to bring in a ton of new #jobs for our team to fill. That makes our tech-savvy candidates very happy! Away from the office, you will usually find her with her boyfriend or hanging out with friends and family (some of which she found here)! Seventeen years ago this month (wow), one of our forefathers Doug Hubbard bravely stepped into a partnership and life of entrepreneurship as Talance was formed! Doug has worn many hats over the years: Recruiter. Client Finder. Leader. Mentor. CFO. All Things Office Fixer! If you’ve worked with him, you know he’s the best of the best at all that he does and takes his work seriously. But there are a few things you may not know. For one, he has painted nearly every piece of art hanging in our office. He won't brag about himself, but he is quite an impressive artist! He also has a mischievous side and looks for ways to prank anyone he can and OFTEN. A rather surprising fact is that since moving to our “house” in The Heights he has built a new following of sorts. We inherited a Koi Pond, and for some reason, the fish will only come to him. ?Watching the “Father of the Fish” in action is quite entertaining on a long workday! Outside of the office, you will find him at his lake house, traveling or spoiling his adorable granddaughters. We have another anniversary to celebrate as well. Thank you, Lauren Ogrodowicz for all that you’ve done over the last 14 years! Originally, Lauren started in an administrative capacity when we were still getting things off the ground. She quickly got promoted to a recruiter role on our #contract #accounting team and has been a top producer ever since! Standing at about 4 foot nothing, you might think she’s quiet and dainty. Don’t let the small package fool ya! She’s as spunky as they come and wins her candidates over with her humor and straightforward approach. When she’s not working, you can find her carpooling a bajillion neighborhood kids, hanging with her fireman hubby, and spending countless hours watching her two girls in dance competitions. And yes, we know her last name is hard to pronounce. Around here, she goes by Lady O!
