SFAA and the National Association of Surety Bond Producers led a Legislative Fly-In with members from across the industry to educate Congress on the value of construction surety bonds and advocate for key legislative priorities, including expanding support for the bipartisan Water Infrastructure Subcontractor and Taxpayer Protection Act (S.570 / H.R.1285).

It was a pleasure to represent Arch Insurance Group Inc. at the The Surety & Fidelity Association of America (SFAA) and National Association of Surety Bond Producers Legislative Fly In in Washington, DC this past week. With the team, comprised of myself, Katherine McFadden, Esq., Jay G., James Gorman, and Brea Sinnott, we visited with the offices of Senator John Fetterman, Mary Gay Scanlon, and Dwight Evans to seek support for The Water Infrastructure Subcontractor & Taxpayer Protection Act (HR 1285 and S 570). We also heard presentations from Former Congressman and US Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and Majority Staff Director for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Jay Ruddy and attended a Reception for Representatives Mike Bost (R-IL) and Chris Pappas (D-NH) who support the legislation.
