A huge THANK YOU to Kroger for their incredible continued support of The Store! Yesterday, as part of their Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation, Kroger presented The Store with a generous donation during the grand re-opening of their Green Hills location. We are so grateful for this partnership and for businesses like Kroger that invest in their communities and their commitment to help end food insecurity.

关于我们
THE STORE is inspired by Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and is modeled after Unity Shoppe, located in Santa Barbara, California. Following a visit to Unity Shoppe with their sons, Brad and Kim began dreaming about bringing a similar service experience to Nashville. United in belief and partnership with Brad’s alma mater, Belmont University, and with the support of the community, The Store is becoming reality.

Five years ago, we opened our doors with a simple mission: to provide groceries with dignity for our neighbors in need. Since then, we’ve served over 3,500 families, welcomed 3,200 volunteers, and partnered with 50+ agencies across Middle Tennessee to ensure more Nashvillians receive the help they need. From delivering meals during a pandemic to celebrating 1 million meals served, from launching in-store shopping to creating The Toy Store, and now announcing our new location—we’ve come so far, together. Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who has made this possible. Here’s to the next five years of impact, choice, and community!

For Teresa, shopping at The Store means more than just getting groceries—it means having the freedom to choose foods that align with her vegetarian lifestyle. Access to fresh, nutritious options allows her to maintain a diet that works for her, something that isn’t always possible at traditional food programs. Because everyone deserves to shop with dignity. Want to learn more about how choice-based models empower individuals? Join us for Core Conversations on April 7th at 9:30 AM [Virtual Only] to take a deep dive into The Store’s operations and explore how you can bring this model to your community! This Valentine’s Day, let’s keep Love at the Core. Looking for a date idea that’s meaningful and fun? Spend time volunteering together at The Store, where your kindness can make a real difference for neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Afterward, enjoy a lunch date in the heart of 12 South with our friends bartaco, Postino WineCafe , or 12 South Taproom & Grill —it’s the perfect way to spread love in our community and with each other. Because love isn’t just something we feel—it’s something we do. We have a need for volunteers this Friday from 8:30 am - 1 pm but there are plenty of shifts in February you can also sign up for here: https://lnkd.in/ecEvfJJX
