Yesterday, as part of their Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation, Kroger presented The Store with a generous donation during the grand re-opening of their Green Hills location. We are so grateful for this partnership and for businesses like Kroger that invest in their communities and their commitment to help end food insecurity.

Five years ago, we opened our doors with a simple mission: to provide groceries with dignity for our neighbors in need. Since then, we’ve served over 3,500 families, welcomed 3,200 volunteers, and partnered with 50+ agencies across Middle Tennessee to ensure more Nashvillians receive the help they need. From delivering meals during a pandemic to celebrating 1 million meals served, from launching in-store shopping to creating The Toy Store, and now announcing our new location—we’ve come so far, together. Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who has made this possible. Here’s to the next five years of impact, choice, and community!
