At Soze, we believe branding isn’t just about logos or color palettes—it’s about shaping narratives that drive change. Our work with Aligned Climate Capital is a perfect example of why branding for values-driven companies matters. When we collaborate with companies to clarify their identity and tell their story with authenticity, we’re not just building brands—we’re amplifying missions that make the world better. Branding and design are at the core of what we do at Soze because storytelling is the foundation of impact. We are deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to do this work for Aligned Climate Capital, and are incredibly proud of our team for bringing purpose to life through design, strategy, and storytelling.

Black history is not just a month—it’s every day, woven into the fabric of our culture, our communities, and our future. While some try to erase or diminish our stories, we know that Black brilliance, resistance, and creativity will always thrive. Today, we give flowers to Nikki Giovanni, Jenn Stowe, Colette Pichon Battle and Quinton J. Singleton—visionaries whose work has laid the foundation for justice, dignity, and liberation. Their legacies remind us that Black excellence is not to be confined to February but honored and uplifted all year round. No matter the attempts to silence or erase, we will keep celebrating, keep building, and keep giving our flowers. Drop a??? in the comments and tag someone whose impact deserves recognition today. Because Black history is every day, and we will never stop celebrating. #BloomsOfLegacy #GiveThemTheirFlowers #BlackHistoryMonth

Founding Partner of The Soze Agency

We, The Soze Agency, is honored to have had the opportunity to work with the Robin Hood to celebrate the incredible work of Mobility Labs as the initiative comes to a close. For the past two years, partnering with another agency, Cause Lab, we collaborated with our client to design a gathering that truly reflected the impact of the nine Mobility Labs working to solve some of the most complex challenges communities face across the country. We know that poverty was designed, so prosperity can be too! From shaping the theme—"Together, We Solve Tomorrow"—to designing all of the creative and producing the event in New York City on February 12th at the magnificent NeueHouse, every aspect was crafted with intentionality and care. But what made this work most meaningful was our people-first approach—ensuring that the Mobility Labs, the real changemakers, were at the heart of the storytelling. Thank you to Vickeidy Plybon for live quilting, weaving together all of the beautiful messages created by those in the room. Gratitude to DJ Reborn for blessing us with the musical selections, so we could dance at the end of the night! And thank you to all of the inspiring leaders in the room, doing the work everyday! At Soze, we believe creativity isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about building experiences that foster connection, amplify voices, and make people feel seen. When we lead with people-first creativity, we don’t just produce events—we create spaces where communities feel valued, and where solutions for a better tomorrow can take shape. That’s the kind of work that moves us. We are eternally grateful for our collaboration with Cause Labs. Lastly, we are forever in awe of Lori B., the fearless leader and visionary of Mobility Labs. What an amazing human and someone I am very, very proud to call my friend!

In collaboration with We Dream in Black and the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Soze curated the official launch of Legacy of Care, a portrait series by acclaimed photographer Braylen Dion at Public Records NYC in Brooklyn, NY, alongside leaders in policy, arts, and culture such as Isolde Brielmaier, Bexx Francois, Claudia Henriquez, Destiny Owusu, Maia Irvin, Kara Roselle Smith, Kreshonna Keane, Cindy Trinh, and more. The Legacy of Care Portrait Series was a celebration of the often overlooked but longstanding legacy and significance of care work as seen in the stories and images of Alicia Cleveland, Ayanna Smith, Betsy Tyler, Cathy Hooker, and Muzet and Brenda Bell, all of whom are care workers themselves or come from a lineage of care. We set out to create a unique photo installation inspired by the resilience, grace, and agency embodied by the women of the series and care workers of the past and present. Attendees had an opportunity to engage with the women, their photographs, and their stories while enjoying DJ Wemi Mo’s set, eating plant-based bites, and making legacy portraits. It was an honor to cultivate a space in which the stories, efforts, and experiences of domestic care workers were both acknowledged and treated with their deserved respect and reverence alongside our beloved partner, National Domestic Workers Alliance, a nonprofit, nonpartisan group dedicated to fighting for dignity and fairness for the millions of domestic workers in the United States. Check out National Domestic Workers Alliance’s Legacy of Care Portrait Series digital gallery as well as the corresponding feature in Essence magazine. We Choose Now! In our continued partnership with?Taproot Earth Soze was honored to gather our team and cross the Atlantic Ocean to produce the 2024 Global Climate Reparations (GCR) Governance Assembly in Nairobi, Kenya. We curated a space for over 175 global climate frontline leaders to deepen relationships and align networks, building a shared analysis toward climate justice rooted in Black liberation and defining Global Climate Reparations. The space was rooted in community, care, and joy while highlighting local Kenyan businesses, uplifting the African Diaspora through culture, and prioritizing sustainability practices. We are proud to continue our commitment to climate justice and the communities, frontline struggles, and organizations Taproot Earth represents to guide, align, and build power to rebuild our world. #TaprootEarth?#BlackEarth?#GlobalClimateReparations Photo Credits:?Catherine Wangui Gichuru?and?Michael Skolnik

We’re proud to have produced a groundbreaking book tour for Paola Mendoza’s new novel, SOLIS—a companion to her bestseller Sanctuary. Our founding partner gave us one mission: connect communities through the transformative power of storytelling. Our approach? Custom assets that brought the book’s world to life–complete with dynamic promotional assets and fun temporary tattoos to make the experience last just a little longer. We created an immersive storytelling experience by visiting multiple swing states, amplifying hundreds of young voices, intimate workshops with schools, colleges and community centers. We donated over 500+ books, all with over 68% of production supporting Black, LatinX, and Woman-Owned businesses in multiple local-owned swing states. SOLIS unfolds in a near-future America where Sol, a young Latinx girl, faces a world ravaged by xenophobia, climate change, and systemic injustice. Through Sol’s journey, the novel explores resilience, the importance of community, and the transformative power of hope in times of crisis. We are proud to have turned Paola’s book launch into a movement of hope and empowerment. Instilling hope in the face of adversity sparked essential conversations, and we connected with LatinX and BIPOC communities to see their own experiences represented in this story. SOLIS is a catalyst for change.

This fall, we had the honor of leading the creative strategy and producing an epic 25th anniversary celebration of Bard Prison Initiative at St. Ann's Warehouse. For the last quarter century, BPI has proudly defied the odds. Above all, they have embodied an unwavering commitment to rigorous, liberal arts education. Celebrating 25 years of BPI wasn’t just a milestone, it is a testament to the tenacity of the incredible alumni, students, faculty, and each and every person who has been a part of BPI over the years. The evening included a beautiful program hosted by our dear friend Angie Martinez and featured esteemed BPI alumni and leaders like Susan Burton Desmond Meade, Gwen Walz, Crystal Hudson, Kamilah Forbes, Vivian Nixon and many more. Whether we were dancing to DJ D Nice on the 1’s and 2’s, in the portrait studio getting photographed by the talented Devin Allen, or picking up customized books off the swag bookshelf at Soze, there’s never a detail too small to make an experience unforgettable. We had so much fun partnering with BPI for this special event - congratulations on 25 years of powerful work and all of the exciting impact ahead! ?? Sacha Perlstein

Art has the power to move us—and to move us to action. Through the Unity Project, the Norman Rockwell Museum brought together incredible illustrators to inspire civic engagement and remind us of the role we all play in upholding democracy. Norman Rockwell's Unity Project amplified the importance of voter participation and collective democratic participation. Through engaging over 80 artists and creators, we reached over 35 million people, generating 573,000 engagements, more than 5,000 link clicks, and drove hundreds of voter registrations — all through the power of artists and storytelling. We’re proud to have worked alongside the Norman Rockwell Museum to support their efforts through influencer and digital strategies. Illustrations by Punky Aloha, Edel Rodriguez, Lisk Feng, Timothy Goodman, Monica Ahanonu,?and Gary Taxali.

For Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re celebrating the people who’ve shaped our lives and inspire us daily. Soze Latinx/Latine team members have each chosen someone to give flowers to—recognizing individuals who have impacted their lives and the world around them. Flores Para is about celebrating these figures and creating space to acknowledge their influence on our ability to imagine a more inclusive future. Whether advocates, family members, or artists, each has broken barriers in their own way. Today, we recognize them for their creativity, determination, and commitment to spark change. #HispanicHeritageMonth
