The 2024 SWAC Hall of Fame Class which is set to be enshrined on Friday, December 13th, 2024. The enshrinement ceremony is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Omni Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. The 2024 Hall of Fame Honorees includes Alcorn State’s Fred McNair, Grambling State’s Hillary Matthew Bossier (Legend), Southern’s Pete Richardson, Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s Earl Goldman (Legend), and Charlie Neal (Contributor).

Headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., the Southwestern Athletic Conference is an NCAA Division I Conference with 12 member institutions. The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is considered one of the premier HBCU conferences in the country and currently ranks among the elite in the nation in terms of HBCU alumni playing with professional sports teams. The SWAC crowns champions in 18 sports - ten women's sports and eight men's sports. Since its formation in 1920, the SWAC has directed and organized interscholastic athletic competitions, conducted tournaments and prescribed eligibility rules for student-athletes. The Conference also facilitates and assists its member institutions in maintaining intercollegiate athletic programs compatible with the highest standards of education and competitive sports.

NFL Football Operations in partnership with the four HBCU Athletic Conferences (MEAC, SWAC, CIAA, SIAC) are thrilled to announce the inaugural Future Leaders in Football Fellowship class of 2024. This season, Ayanna Scott (Alabama State University) and Tamarah Harris (Jackson State University) will assist their institution’s football program in an area of football operations as supported by the League office.
