Throwback to October, when European Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (ECCKSA) CEO Kristijonas Gedvilas delivered a speech at the Solar & Storage Live KSA & Future Energy Live KSA in Riyadh. His address highlighted the growing strength of EU-Saudi Arabia relations and the immense opportunities presented by the energy transition under Vision 2030. European expertise in solar energy, energy storage, and carbon capture offers significant potential to support the Kingdom’s ambitious sustainability goals. ECCKSA has been actively fostering collaboration in the energy sector. In October, the Chamber organised the Energy Roundtable, which brought together key stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s energy transition. Additionally, ECCKSA is progressing with the formation of an Energy Committee aimed at driving strategic discussions, addressing industry challenges, and facilitating collaboration between European businesses and Saudi stakeholders in the energy sector. Last week ,I found myself standing at the crossroads of innovation and sustainability in the heart of Riyadh. As the host of Solar & Storage Live KSA & Future Energy Live KSA 2024 on October 15-16, I witnessed firsthand the incredible momentum building in Saudi Arabia's clean energy revolution. The energy in the room was palpable as I moderated Four transformative sessions that left me more inspired than ever about our Kingdom's green future. In our first discussion, First Day 15 Oct 2024 "Navigating the Future: Integrated Approaches to Energy, Water, and Hydrogen in the Gulf Region" We explored how these three vital resources intertwine to create a sustainable tomorrow. The dialogue revealed how our region's unique challenges are becoming our greatest opportunities for innovation with the following leaders: Asheque Moyeed Dr Valentina Dedi Quentin Dominique Blommaert Emilio Escartin (??????? ????????)
