Traditional educational funding schemes often overlook home educators, who form a growing and diverse community with distinct needs. Despite their importance, home educators rarely receive tailored financial support to enhance learning, particularly in specialised subjects like religious education. How can we do this better? TSIP explored this question using participatory approaches to funding with Culham St Gabriel's Trust, All Saints, and St Peter's Saltley Trust, to develop more innovative approaches in religious education. As a result, the bespoke Religion and Worldviews Home Educators’ Fund was created and officially launched this Fall. Find out more on our website here https://lnkd.in/egh-4q3w #TSIP #CoDesign #PGM

关于我们
The Social Innovation Partnership (TSIP) is a trusted advisor to public, private and social sector organisations seeking to maximise their social impact. OUR VISION IS A SOCIETY WHERE THE MOST EFFECTIVE SOCIAL ORGANISATIONS ARE ABLE TO FLOURISH. We believe that a strong and dynamic society will take shape when evidence and innovation sit at the heart of efforts to tackle our most persistent social challenges; when evidence is used to better understand what brings about social change, and innovation is used to find and test new solutions. Organisations across all sectors are striving to progress in this direction, and face growing pressure to do so - but many struggle to access support that is practical, useful and realistic. The Social Innovation Partnership exists to fill this gap. We work with organisations to help them clarify their purpose and what it is they want to achieve. We then support them to develop the systems and skills they need to embed evidence and innovation in their work. With this combination of strategic and practical support, they can measure, communicate and grow their social impact. We pride ourselves on partnering with ambitious organisations that share in our vision, so that together we can achieve lasting social change. You can find out more about our work and previous clients here: www.tsip.co.uk If you would like to discuss how TSIP could work with your organisation, please contact us at [email protected]

What difference can long-term core funding make? As the largest network of LGBT+ groups and organisations in the UK, Consortium of LGBT+ Voluntary and Community Organisations helps groups become stronger and more sustainable, so they can provide essential services and advocate for the rights of individuals in the community. Through City Bridge Foundation's innovative Anchor Programme, they're able to receive long-term core-funding to support their work. As the Anchor Programme’s Learning Partner, TSIP works with the funded organisations to harness their collective learning to reach the aims of the programme, and sheds a light on how having access to long-term core funding impacts them. In Autumn 2018, we embarked on a five-year evaluation of Peabody's work in Thamesmead, together with Arup. Using a mix of qualitative and quantitative approaches, the aim of the evaluation was to test and challenge Peabody’s regeneration objectives for Thamesmead. Supporting them in collaborating holistically with communities and partners to understand and respond to what they need and want from the town, the ultimate goal was to ensure that Thamesmead fulfils its potential. Launched today, their Story of Impact captures the progress they've made over these past 5 years, and we love to see it! Read more about our work with Peabody here: https://lnkd.in/ecHecY_f #TSIP #CoCreation #CommunityEngagement #Participation
In 2018 we published our first five year plan to improve, grow and look after Thamesmead for the long term. Today we’re launching Looking After Thamesmead: Our Story of Impact, which charts our progress over those five years. Our holistic regeneration of the town is a collaboration, and we’ve worked closely with local people and partners along the way. Together we’re committed to fulfilling Thamesmead’s potential as London’s new town.? Read the report ? https://lnkd.in/dmAAmB_N
