This is the result of the efforts, generosity, and determination of 5,000 children from Herzliya, Ashkelon, Givat Shmuel, Raanana, and Ashdod, who raised money together in the "MeAgura Legvura" project. All the funds collected have been donated to organizations that support Lone Soldiers. More than the sum of money, I witnessed the excitement and empowerment of these children. I want to share with you what I have seen and heard from them. I met groups of children who, together, prepared and sold cakes, cookies, and lemonade to help the soldiers. ?? I met Yael, who sold her drawings ??, and Shira, who sold bracelets. ?? I met David, who cooked, tidied up, and cleaned his house to earn money from his mother, which he then donated to the soldiers. ?? I met Michal, who collected hundreds of plastic bottles to sell to supermarkets and used the proceeds to make a donation to the soldiers. ?? I met Arbel, a first-grader, who sold his birthday gifts to help the soldiers. ?? They gave me so much hope. In these times of war, seeing the generosity of these united children, all working together for Israel, should serve as an example for us all. Now, I dream of scaling this project and making it a national one, just as it exists in France. Anyone wants to help? ?? ??

5,000 donation boxes. 5,000 donation boxes for 5,000 children from Herzliya, Ashkelon, Givat Shmuel, Raanana, and Ashdod, all coming together to collect funds for our soldiers. 30 years ago, I received a small donation box at my public school in Paris. Crafted from simple cardboard, each student made their own and filled it with coins. All the money collected was then donated to a foundation supporting sick children in hospitals. This national project has been running in France for 35 years. Through these little boxes, every year, this foundation collects and donates money. +100 million euros over 35 years. Last week, The Simlai Foundation launched a similar project in Israel: MeAgura LeGvura. In times like these, witnessing children united, engaged together, and leading social initiatives for our soldiers is truly powerful. The project has kicked off, and the results are already wonderful. From all corners of Israel, we're flooded with images and videos of enthusiastic children, eager and resolute in their collective endeavor.
