Leadership advisory is powerful – supporting Siegfried professionals as they build the trusting and of-service relationships that enhance professional success. By leaning into leadership advisory, Richard Dhanpaul set himself and Siegfried apart at a client, creating the opportunity for unique and challenging work that he never would have expected to come his way.

It was a full circle moment as we hosted the extraordinary Simon Sinek at The Siegfried Group National Summit last week. In 2012 I stumbled up his TED Talk - How Great Leaders Inspire Action and his concept of "people don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it" (do business with people who believe what you believe) became foundational in how I built compelling and meaningful relationships in work and life. It's amazing to dream about meeting someone someday, and then it happens! Here are just a few of his key messages: 1. Have an infinite mindset - don't treat success or failure as an event, but rather part of the journey. 2. Friendship is the ultimate bio hack but it's hard to be human and we can all work on our human skills. 3. Instead of "Work Hard, Play Hard" evolve to "Work Smart, Play Always." 4. Great leaders don't demand trust, they earn it. 5. Values must be written as verbs "Do the right thing, Tell the truth..." because verbs drive behaviors. Big shout out to Kristin Duncan and Meghan Cartmell, along with the entire events team for masterminding another experience of a lifetime!

Fighter pilot helping corporations inspire & equip teams through my unique journey of overcoming adversity and combat leadership, so they can build strong, resilient teams and drive impactful growth.
What are your dreams? What are you passionate about? What are you disappointed or irritated about right now? When is the last time you as a leader asked your team questions like this? It is extremely rare for a founder/CEO to care so deeply about his/her employees as people to invest significantly in their personal growth and development—whether they stay at the company or not. That is why I was drawn to Robert L. Siegfried, Jr. and to join the board of The Siegfried Group. Ron brought his entire team of over 1200 to Vegas last weekend with speakers like Simon Sinek, Nido R. Qubein and others to help his amazing team learn, grow, reflect, and connect. Rob deeply cares about his team and puts his money where his mouth is. How can you invest in your team to ensure they meet their full potential?

Life doesn’t seem to run out of firsts for me and I’m here for it! “Is that…. my face?” @ The Siegfried Group’s National Summit in Las Vegas ??

This past weekend was a powerful reminder of just how fortunate I am to be part of The Siegfried Group. I found myself in awe, when I realized that I wasn’t just watching Simon Sinek on a projector like I typically do in class, but fully engaged in a live Q&A session organized by my incredible team. Simon’s insights touched on so many meaningful topics—friendship, being present, and, of course, understanding your “Why.” It’s not about what we do, but why we do it. For me, spending the weekend reflecting, reconnecting, and having fun with my Siegfried family is exactly why I do what I do.

The Siegfried Group invests in its employees. ? Sometimes it's through spontaneous team leader calls to talk through issues or get some extra support. ? Sometimes it's encouraging us to have rhythmic 1:1 conversations with the people most important to us. ? Sometimes it's flying the whole firm out to Las Vegas for a half week of wonderful speakers (shout out Dr. Nido Qubein, Matt Taibbi, and Simon Sinek), self-reflection leadership exercises, and wonderful evening events that you actually want to attend. I had a blast at Siegfried's 28th MY Journey event this past weekend which was capped off by an all employee talent show Saturday night. I decided to participate by dressing up as Guy Fieri and karaoking Drowning Pool's hit 2001 song, "Bodies" to my whole firm. Who said accountants are boring?! ? Thankful Siegfried chooses to invest in me and makes sure we have fun along the way! #thesiegfriedgroup #flavortown #leadership #MYJourney
