As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end, we’re proud of the impactful initiatives led by TSG’s Women's Connection Network (WCN). With guidance from executive sponsors George Karakostantis and Whitney Dannecker, TSG focused on awareness, prevention education, and fundraising. Our commitment to these causes continues year-round, as we work to support wellness and health for all. ? This month’s highlights included a powerful webinar featuring Stephanie Johnson from the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. who shared insights on personal health, screening importance, and ways to support NBCF’s mission. We also held our Walk Where You Are event, with TSG team members stepping outside, dressed in pink, to raise awareness in their communities and honor those impacted by breast cancer. ? October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! This month is an important time to recognize the contributions and achievements of individuals with disabilities while promoting inclusion and accessibility in all areas of life. At TSG, we’re proud to celebrate by hosting a Sign Language Workshop led by our ADAPTabilities Employee Resource Group (ERG). This interactive session will give employees the chance to learn common words, phrases, and basic sign language facts, while exploring the power of communication through body language and emotional expression. This workshop also helps raise awareness of the Deaf community and fosters inclusivity within our teams. In honor of World Mental Health Day, I’m proud to share the same passion for mental health as my company, The Select Group. With over one in five U.S. adults living with a mental illness, it’s more important than ever to prioritize mental wellbeing. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, I’m committed to championing the wellness of our employees, ensuring they feel supported in every aspect of their lives, both inside and outside of work. At TSG, our culture is built on taking care of one another. This sense of care feels even more critical right now as we keep those affected by the recent hurricanes in the Southeast in our thoughts. With school back in session, our PACE (Parents and Caregivers Excelling) Employee Resource Group partnered with The Boys and Girls Club to provide much-needed school supplies to seven Wake County, North Carolina clubs. We’re thrilled to share that this incredible group of TSGers surpassed their fundraising goal, raising nearly $1,400 in school supplies and monetary donations.
