Former Miami Heat coach and SEED Champion, Coach Ron Rothstein, presented the honor and graduate Jayden Murray-Cruz closed the evening with a heartfelt speech on his journey and the impact that SEED Miami has had on his life. What an incredibly inspiring morning we had with the amazing Emina Cunmulaj Nazarian, philanthropist and humanitarian. ?? Emina shared her powerful journey and profound wisdom with our female scholars, leaving us all with a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Her words resonated deeply with each of us, especially when she said, "This generation speaks up." It's a reminder that our voices are powerful, and it’s time to make them heard. During her conversation Emina emphasized the importance of believing in yourself and never letting obstacles stand in your way. "Only you can come between you and your goals. You have to really believe in yourself." These words hit home, reinforcing the idea that the power to succeed lies within us. One of the most powerful moments of the morning was when Emina shared, "My voice was way more powerful than I thought." It reminded us all that we are capable of so much more than we realize, and we each have the power to drive change. As she said, "One person can change the whole cycle – I did, and it was a lot of work." Her journey is a testament to the incredible impact one person can have when they step up, speak out, and work relentlessly towards their goals. Today, we walk away with more than just inspiration—we walk away with the belief that we too can change the cycle. Thank you, Emina, for empowering us all and reminding us that we have the power to make a lasting impact.

Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to visit The SEED School of Miami, and it’s a visit I will not soon forget. The passion, dedication, and resilience of the students and educators were truly inspiring. Seeing firsthand the impact of a supportive, college-preparatory boarding school right here in Miami reaffirmed the importance of investing in education and opportunities for our youth.
