Last week I had the chance to speak to students at Our Lady of Victory School about the impactful work that we do at the Sea Turtle Conservation Fund. ???? We dove into the real challenges sea turtles face due to human actions and how STCF is making a difference. We also brainstormed ways these students could join in and be part of the mission to protect marine species. One question that always comes up when I speak to students is, "Why should we care about sea turtles?" The prevalence of this question shows me that there's a genuine curiosity among students, about the importance of protecting our planet. Once these students truly understand the importance of safeguarding the environment, they are not only motivated but also eager to take meaningful action.
