?? Thankful Tuesday Spotlight! ?? Today, we're giving a HUGE shoutout to our amazing Gateway Community Housing Manager, Stacy Bergman who recently won the Difference Maker Award! ?? Her dedication to helping special needs kids and making our community stronger is truly inspiring. ?? She had the honor of receiving this award from Dominique Cares in October at The Dominique Cares and Kingdom Performance Sneaker Gala. Dominique Cares is a remarkable nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical support to children and families navigating disabilities founded by the inspiring Deborah Spencer. Dominique Cares partnered with a family at our Gateway transitional housing apartment and helped a special needs child attend their camp. We're so grateful for their passion, hard work, and heart for making a difference. We are immensely grateful for everything they do to bring smiles and support to those who need it most! ?? Huge shoutout to Green Mountain Energy Company and Sun Club! ??Thank you so much for the incredible grant award we received of solar panels and installation! ?? You've made a real difference in the future of The Samaritan Inn. We will be able to save on energy costs and go green. We are being good stewards! 250 panels were installed, and it is estimated to produce 149,557 kWh in the first year. Based on our annual usage, this new system could save us $410,000 in utility costs over the next 25 years. We're so grateful for your generosity and commitment to clean energy. ????
