The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach

The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach (SM) is a research-backed, neurodevelopmental, transdisciplinary treatment model for autism. The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach (SM) method is practiced by Dr. Lynette Scotese-Wojtila and staff at Integrations Treatment Center in Wickliffe, Ohio, to educate, treat and serve people with autism and their families. Dr. Scotese-Wojtila holds a doctorate in occupational therapy from Gannon University, and is the primary investigator of the world’s first research study on the effects of The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach on children with autism. With over 30 years of pediatric experience, Dr. Scotese-Wojtila has served thousands of individuals with autism and their families. She is a Certified Autism Specialist and holds a certification in Sensory Integration (SI) as well. She specializes in both neurodevelopmental transdisciplinary care, and the evaluation and treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In 1995, Dr. Scotese-Wojtila established Integrations Treatment Center, Inc. (ITC), a unique transdisciplinary outpatient, day treatment, and training facility designed specifically for children with ASD. In 1998 she coined The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach (SM), ITC’s innovative, synclectic, and neurodevelopmental model for assessing, educating and treating children with autism. By 2002 she and her husband of 28 years established S.U.C.C.E.S.S. for Autism, a 501(c)(3) organization, as a sister-agency to ITC through which funding, awareness, access and research could be addressed. As an affiliate of local colleges and universities, Dr.. Scotese-Wojtila has taught numerous classes and workshops on autism and Sensory Integration in and around the United States.
