Our this day filled with family and friends, we celebrate and express our appreciation for our Roots Fund family including all those who have supported our organization. Whether through donations, assistance, or support we are grateful for everyone who has pledged their commitment to our mission. Our Annual Charity Auction was a collation of this support filled with groundbreaking raises, love for our organization, and amazing company. So on this day of gratitude we honor our partner who helped make it happen. A special thank you to our partner Zachys Wine Auctions for making the auction a possibility. With the support and collaboration from the Zachys Auction team @amanda_opromolla and @julesmgmurray we had an outstanding night. We are thankful for your partnership, your patience, and your diligence toward making our vision a reality. We couldn't have imagined a better auction to close out the year. And another thank you to all those who worked behind the scenes, we see you and we appreciate you. This past October we hosted our 3rd Annual Charity Auction. It was a night full of good food, good wine, and most importantly good company. With thousands of dollars raised it was a night we will never forget. A special thank you to all of the producers (Jean-Marc Roulot from Domaine Roulot @luchets007, Dominique Lafon from Domaine des Comtes Lafon @lafon.dom, Thibaud Clerget from Domaine Y.Clerget @thibaud.cl, Fred Savart from Champagne Savart @champagnesavart, and Piero Incisa from Bodega Chacra @bodegachacra) and chefs that came out to support. As we round out the last few days of recapping this past month we have to highlight our amazing chefs and host that volunteered their time for our 3rd Annual Charity Auction. With it being a night full of outstanding dishes, exciting engagement, and memories that will last a lifetime, you all made our auction one for the books! Your hard work allowed us to raise funds toward all programs even our latest scholarship drop honoring our dear friend James Kent (stay on the look out for more information coming soon).
