This month, we were honored to host The Foundership at our Factory Location. This gathering of incredible female founders fosters support, friendship and networking in Kansas City. Help us fill the pantry at the Veterans Community Project! We’re calling on the community to help us collect nonperishable food items at our State Line location in?UMB Bank?from August 19 – August 22. All items will help stock the?Veterans Community Project of #KansasCity commissary and food pantry. On Thursday, August 22 from 8am – 12pm, a tiny home from the?#VCP?will pop up in our café parking lot to provide tours and speak to their mission. Join us!

Sip and support Children's Mercy Kansas City ? Our Comfort Cup is more than a drink—it's a way for local coffee lovers to support families of Children’s Mercy Hospital, all while enjoying lavender, mint, and oat milk bliss. The special drink, a lavender mint latte with oat milk, is available for a limited time (iced or hot) across Kansas City cafés, in honor of Nora Jane, an infant who was born prematurely and spent 159 days at Children’s Mercy receiving the highest levels of care in the NICU. During those many long days at the hospital, Nora’s parents, Brian Stockinger and Mary Sciortino, looked forward to their daily beverage at The Roasterie inside Children’s Mercy. To help the nursing mother adhere to Nora Jane’s dietary needs, The Roasterie staff adapted her favorite café drink. The family’s order, now called the Comfort Cup, became a permanent fixture at Children’s Mercy’s Roasterie location in 2022, with 10% of any Comfort Cup purchase going to the hospital’s Family Support Fund.
