Please help us welcome Megan St. Germain to our team! Megan is a St. Mary's Law graduate who began her career as a family law litigator. She is experienced in compassionately helping clients during difficult times in their lives. In her spare time, Megan can be found spending time with her dogs and her husband or reading her books.

We’re so excited to welcome Lex Townsley, Esq. to our firm! Lex is a civil litigator dedicated to fighting for his clients. After going to law school in California, Lex has spent most of his legal career in Austin helping injured clients. We’re glad to have him on our team!

We enjoyed hosting a table with for the second year at the Women's Symphony League of Austin annual fashion luncheon! It was great to hear from speaker Jenna Bush Hager and see beautiful couture designed by Mackenzie Brittingham.

I had a great time today participating in a panel discussion with Laura Ramos James and Tycha Kimbrough, Esq. moderated by Lauren Schoenbaum about opening your own law practice for a Mother Attorney Mentoring Association (MAMAs) luncheon! MAMAs is such a supportive and inspiring network of local women lawyers. Thank you, Beckstead Terry Ditto PLLC for sponsoring lunch and McGinnis Lochridge for providing a space!

We’re excited to share that partners Rekha Roarty and Nicholl Wade were both named on the 2025 Best Lawyers : Ones to Watch List! For over 40 years, Best Lawyers has used a purely peer-based review process to designate top attorneys throughout the world. Rekha and Nicholl were both recognized in the areas of construction and litigation—construction. Rekha was also recognized in real estate.

Bittersweet happy hour today saying goodbye to our summer associate, Wyatt Hicks ! He returns to school at Baylor University School of Law this month. Wyatt was a fantastic addition to our team this summer and we can’t wait to see what he achieves in the future. Sic ‘em, Wyatt!

We’re excited to welcome our newest attorney, Scott Butler! Scott is an Austin native who comes from a personal injury litigation background and is Baylor University School of Law alumni. Prior to law school, Scott knew he wanted to be a lawyer and worked as a paralegal for several years. We’re thrilled to have him join the Roarty Law team!
