We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Becky Morrissey as our new Executive Clinical Director at The Ridge Ohio! With 25 years of dual diagnosis behavioral health experience, Dr. Morrissey brings a wealth of clinical expertise and proven leadership to our team. Her dedication to Championing Excellence, Celebrating Strengths, Cherishing Family, Cultivating Clinical Expertise, Connecting Communities, and Changing Lives perfectly aligns with The Ridge Ohio’s core values. Dr. Morrissey’s role includes clinical oversight of recovery programming, leadership and supervision support for our staff, and a commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care for clients. She is dually licensed as an LPCC-S and LICDC-CS, holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, and currently leads both academic and clinical faculty at Antioch University Midwest. Her passion for building hope through group support, individualized treatment, and professional training will further strengthen our mission to provide comprehensive care and sustainable recovery for those we serve. We are celebrating Women's History Month and are proud to spotlight our incredible women leaders - this week we are featuring our Chief Medical Officer Dr. Wendy Soto! After starting her medical career in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Dr. Soto saw firsthand how alcohol and drug use were devastating her patients’ lives—often with few resources available. Recognizing a need for specialized care, she embraced Addiction Medicine at the height of the opioid epidemic. Dr. Soto joined The Ridge in May 2022, becoming board certified in Addiction Medicine, and has been consistently inspired by the women leaders at every level of our organization—from our CEO to our patient support team. Together, they’ve developed programs that address the unique barriers women face in recovery, creating a safe, supportive space for true healing.
