The Real Estate Capital Institute? is a volunteer-based research organization that tracks realty rates data for debt and equity yields. The Institute posts daily and historical benchmark rates including treasuries, bank prime and LIBOR. Furthermore, the Real Estate Capital RateLine at 7RE-CAPITAL (773-227-4825) provides daily rate updates. The information is collected from various real estate capital professionals including debt and equity funding sources, investors, mortgage bankers and valuation experts. The data collected is deemed reliable, but accuracy can't be guaranteed due to the dynamic nature of the capital markets. To remain unbiased, the Institute does not accept advertising revenue and all data contributions are accepted voluntarily and kept confidential.
