We are happy to share that William Merrigan has been promoted to Assistant Project Manager. In his three years with the firm, William has shown a strong ability to coordinate complex projects, ensuring that they are executed responsibly. His leadership has been evident in projects like The Horton Hotel and Fairmont Heritage Place - The Cedars, where his client-focused approach has made a significant impact. In his new role, William will take on increased responsibilities, including overseeing project schedules, managing resources, and maintaining key client and consultant relationships.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Deming to Assistant Project Manager. Jeff has been a key member of our team for the past four years, consistently contributing to projects such as McRorie Landing and the R.L. Stowe, Jr. YMCA with his leadership and attention to detail. His hands-on approach and ability to understand client needs have made him a valuable asset to the firm. In his new role, Jeff will continue to apply his expertise, manage essential tasks, and support the successful delivery of a wider range of projects.

We are proud to announce that Zeb Smith has been promoted to Team Lead. As a Registered Architect and Senior Associate, Zeb has been with the firm for twelve years, bringing a wealth of architectural knowledge and leadership to many of our high-profile projects. His promotion recognizes his dedication to driving the firm’s mission forward and his role in delivering complex, technically challenging projects. Zeb’s leadership has been integral to the success of numerous hospitality projects, and in his new role, he will take on greater responsibilities, managing complex timelines and budgets as well as an increased leadership role within the firm.

We are pleased to announce that Randal Rhodes has been promoted to Team Lead. Randal, an Associate in his fifth year with the firm, has been instrumental in the success of many notable multifamily residential, hospitality and other projects. His leadership and project management skills have consistently delivered successful outcomes, earning the trust of both his colleagues and clients. In his new role, Randal will continue to focus on managing a variety of project types, applying his expertise to complex project coordination and team management efforts. His promotion includes broader critical leadership responsibilities and reflects his significant and consistent contribution to the firm.

We are excited to announce the promotion of Saipriya Rao to Team Lead. Over her seven years with the firm, Saipriya has demonstrated strong leadership and a proven ability to guide teams through challenging projects. As an Associate, she has been involved in some of the firm’s most significant commercial developments, consistently delivering results. In her new role, Saipriya will continue to lead teams with a focus on managing strategic projects that require detailed planning and execution. Her leadership, attention to detail and client management have been key to her success at the firm.

Rebecca joins RBA as our Office Administrator, handling finance and billing operations. Professionally, she has led and partnered previously?with highly skilled teams in the areas of Construction Management and, most recently, People Development. Rebecca says that she's at her best when the people she supports feel empowered to do their best. Rebecca says, "I look forward to supporting the talented RBA collective and allowing them to best serve our clients through their creative approaches to architecture and planning design." Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys exploring the world with her husband and two boys, ages 6 and 7 - and sticking a toe or two in landscape design

We welcome Grayson back to RBA as an intern this fall as he pursues his Masters in Architecture degree at the UNC Charlotte College of Arts and Architecture. Grayson interned with us this past summer having graduated magna cum laude?in May with his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree. Grayson is a big Chicago sports fan, mostly following the Bears and the Bulls. He likes to play basketball, draw and enjoys electronic and alternative/indie music?in his free time.?

Yasmin started with RBA this summer as a Designer after graduating in May with her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from the UNC Charlotte College of Arts and Architecture. She had previously earned an Associates in Arts degree. Yasmin says, "My love of architecture began early.?I had basically decided it was what I wanted to do for my career by the time I was a freshman in high school. My father, being one of my biggest inspirations, encouraged me in every way possible." In her spare time, Yasmin enjoys drawing and art of all media as well as spending time with her dogs.
