The Wean Foundation board of directors has approved $270,000 to two Community Development Financial Institutions, Bridgeway Capital and Valley Partners. It’s day one of our first Spring Resident Engagement Grant Workshop. Attendees are hearing from content experts on organization narrative and budget, and will later refine their applications and connect with other local groups.

We’re holding a Period Products Drive throughout March in honor of Women’s History Month. Drop off menstrual products to our office at 147 West Market Street in downtown Warren. Collection bins?are located in?the main lobby, which is open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. They can also be dropped off at D.O.P.E. Cider House and Winery in Youngstown. ? Items collected will be distributed to representatives at Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Chaney High School in Youngstown, Youngstown Rayen Early College and to Wean Foundation grantee partner Inspiring Minds. These organizations will provide the products to menstruating individuals who need them. https://lnkd.in/ec9EsMw2
