The Railroad Management Association (RMA)

RMA-The Railroad Management Association, is a nonprofit membership organization, representing career professionals employed in all sectors of the railroad industry– rapid transit, major carrier, regional and shortline freight, regional and national passenger carriers and suppliers and agencies. Members receive access to RMA|Online, Management Excellence Awards and FacingPoints(sm) Member Update. RMA advocates on members' behalf before all branches of Federal, State and Local Governments as well as the Department of Transportation/FRA/FTA/FHWA. RMA also works to coordinate efforts to bring consumers and the general public to a greater awareness of the business and science of the railroad as well as demonstrating that it is a viable career path, leading to a multitude of opportunities and growth. We support important industry initiatives on behalf of members such as corridor investments, public/private partnerships leading to the development of rail systems or safety. We also work to provide educational opportunities to members to assist them in meeting professional goals.
