The Racial Equity Asset Lab

The REAL works at the intersection of racial equity and impact investing to shift capital to improve the material conditions of Black people and communities for the betterment of all. The REAL is a network of people who are dedicated to advancing policy & practice, changing the narrative and implementing strategies for equitable outcomes in Black and other communities of color. The REAL leverages data (disaggregated) and research to understand how different groups of people fare within current structures and institutions, systems and policies and to inform systemic changes that make for an inclusive economy to improve material conditions for Black and other communities of color. The REAL shares knowledge and insight to help decision makers, investors, advocates, program managers get on the same page for advancing equity. The REAL is a lab where ideas become strategies and change happens.
