"I've always wanted to be a leader that helps people develop themselves professionally. I have a team of 12 reps under me. I'm a voracious reader, so I've started a book club for my team where I send the entire team a book every other month that can help them develop — usually a book about sales, business, negotiation, or psychology. I try to (casually) talk about the books with my team during one on one conversations, usually at the end of a meeting or when I’m passing them in the hallway, but no one seems to be reading the books. I don't want to force them to do anything they don't want to do, but I want to help them develop. What can I do?" https://lnkd.in/grsKSKvU

The language you use during sales conversations (and throughout life really) can change the way you're perceived. "I've got about 2-3 months of runway left. I've been applying to jobs and have had a handful of interviews but I haven't gotten any offers. I finally got one last week. The pay is fine, about the same as I was making before. But I checked the Glassdoor and Repvue reviews for the company and it turns out it's not a great place to work and has pretty high turnover on the sales team specifically." https://lnkd.in/epNDWT8c
Advice: "I got laid off and am running out of savings. Should I take a job at a company with bad reviews?"
