This past weekend, a hearty team of ‘Quin House members and employees spent a snowy Sunday morning linking arms with the community and walking the streets of Boston to help raise awareness and funds to end homelessness and the stigma that surrounds it. With more than 100 ‘Quin House participants this year, we are proud to announce a $10,000 contribution towards ending homelessness. Members of the The 'Quin House and 'Quin Impact Fund celebrated MLK weekend by attending Embrace Boston Honors on Sunday evening. The signature event went beyond just remembering history and exemplifies how to honor,?understand and embrace. It was a special night dedicated to the legacies of many of our members who are outstanding civic, business, and community leaders in Boston and beyond, and our team was thrilled to be a part of it!?

Please join us in welcoming The ‘Quin Impact Fund's newest Director, Michelle Perez Vichot! ? Michelle will take the helm of philanthropic initiatives after a monumental year of impact, with?the organization having contributed over $3.3MM to Boston area non-profits since its inception, including over $900k in the past year. With?more than 25 years of experience in social services and organizational leadership, Michelle most recently?served as Chief Executive Officer of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Billerica. Under her leadership, we look forward to continuing to serve the Greater Boston Community in 2025 and beyond!

As we wind down another great year, we are reflecting on the incredible work being done to uplift and support young people in our communities. ? This year’s ‘Quin Impact Fund Youth & Education cohort highlights a wide array of impactful initiatives that empower Boston’s next generation. ?From nurturing early childhood development with Nurtury Early Education to sparking a lifelong love of reading with Raising a Reader Massachusetts, these organizations are laying the foundation for future success. Programs like The Calculus Project Inc. and 826 Boston are equipping students with essential academic skills, while HopeWell Inc. is providing critical support for youth in foster care. Boston Higher Education Resource Center (HERC) is guiding first-generation college students on their educational journeys, and The Upward Project is creating pathways to economic mobility through tech training. Youth Development Organization (YDO) and Boston Scores are engaging students through enriching after-school programs, and ZUMIX is empowering young voices through music and the arts. ?Each organization honors our city’s diverse cultures and identities while creating lasting opportunities for growth and success. We are proud of the impact they’re making in Boston, inspiring and preparing young people to thrive. ? At The 'Quin House, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and give thanks—for our members, our community, and especially our incredible team. We’re proud to continue our tradition of closing on Thanksgiving, allowing our employees to enjoy the holiday with their loved ones. Wednesday afternoon, members of our culinary teams welcomed the season of giving with a very special delivery to local Boston Fire Department houses, including Boston Fire Ladder 15 and Boston Fire Engine 3. The ‘Quin House chefs prepared 100 turkey dinners for our community’s essential first responders and we were honored to deliver them personally! Thank you for everything that you do!??? ?? ? Happy Thanksgiving!

We’re proud to play a role in shaping tomorrow’s visionaries and changemakers.

Last week, members of The ‘Quin House and 'Quin Impact Fund took part in a collaborative volunteer activity with Cradles to Crayons Massachusetts, to address children’s clothing and supply insecurity in the Greater Boston community. Cradles to Crayons is a non-profit organization that provides resources to children up to 12 years of age, living in homeless or low-income households. Our team was happy to help bring a little color to those in need alongside this fantastic organization!???? ??
