IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MISSION! The Pit Bull Coalition announces a new direction for The GREATEST PIT BULL EVENT. EVER! The October 5 version of #thegreatestpitbulleventever (GPBE) was planned in two parts: the first, PAWDANCE – The Pit Bull Film Fest, at The Gardena Cinema; and the second, “Our Pit Bulls’ Big Night Out,” including The Pit Bull Fashion Show and the P.A.W.S. Adoption Celebration. #thepitbullcoalition, the producers of The GPBE, have made a decision to postpone “Big Night Out,” but to redouble its efforts surrounding PAWDANCE, to make the film fest bigger, better and more impactful than initially contemplated. We have set our sights on raising $1m+, saving thousands of pit bull and bully breed dogs, and starting a movement to reduce, at scale, the shelter population —and the out-of-control numbers— of our beautiful pit bull babies, who are being euthanized each year.
