Last summer, we had the incredible opportunity to team up with Rhiannon Giddens on a one-of-a-kind project that brought together 22 members of our client community. As part of this unforgettable collaboration, Rhiannon worked with Spel, one of our currently incarcerated clients, to create stunning, limited-edition artwork for her tour merchandise! Fast forward a year, Spel and Rhiannon sat down for CULTURED Magazine to reflect on their groundbreaking collaboration—and the unique ways they each express truth through their individual art styles. Help us welcome home our fifth client of the year, Akeem Folly! This past Monday, Akeem walked free from prison after spending 20 years wrongfully incarcerated. Akeem is especially excited to spend time with his son and daughter, who were both young children at the time of his arrest and have been a constant support to him. https://lnkd.in/euEkCPZe

We're still shining a light on #WrongfulConvictionDay Did you know that nearly half of all exonerated individuals spent years in prison for crimes that never occurred? This disturbing fact underscores the systemic flaws in investigations and prosecutions.

"Legislators have debated Pennsylvania’s sentence for felony murder for years.
