?? Summer at Springfield Town Center has been nothing short of spectacular, and I'm thrilled to share some of the highlights with you! ?? ?? Build-A-Bear Workshop opened their brand new kiosk near Grand Court. ?? The Peach Truck returned to the Center in both June & July and brought delicious, fresh Georgia peaches! ?? Halal Ribfest returned for their second year of grilling mouthwatering halal ribs. ?? KOJAM Productions, Inc.'s 7th Annual Taste of Springfield brought together local flavors and community spirit, making it a delicious success! Karen O'Connor-Joyner ?? We hosted our 2nd Annual Pride Night Out benefitting Safe Space NOVA. Special thanks to Supervisor Rodney Lusk and Det. Tiara Goode for their support! We recently received a donation of two pallets of beautiful peaches from The Peach Truck! Our Senior Kitchen Coordinator Laney made 225 quarts of peach jam, seen cooking in one of our tilt skillets here. We'll use that in PB&J sandwiches for community partners this summer. Thank you for helping serve our neighbors such delicious meals!
