We believe that celebrating cultural traditions fosters inclusivity, curiosity, and understanding. On January 29, a group of amazing parent volunteers partnered with Yamilex Mejia, our DEIB Coordinator, to host a special?Lunar New Year celebration?for students during the school day. Students learned about the traditions of the holiday—from preparing for the New Year with red decorations and house cleaning to the significance of red envelopes. They also got to enjoy traditional dumplings and mandarin oranges, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune!
