The Pararescue Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity dedicated to support U.S. Air Force Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officer service members, veterans and their families. We execute our mission guided by three goals: 1) Relieve the physical and psychological demands of service 2) Provide tragedy, transition, and education assistance 3) Honor the commitment and sacrifice of those who live by the motto: "These Things we Do, That Others May Live".     The Pararescue Foundation’s retreat for Guardian Angel Leaders is intended to provide a trusted space for those in GA officer and enlisted leadership positions to use golf and mindfulness as therapeutic tools to optimize human performance and resilience within the framework of the 8 domains of Total Force Fitness.? All activities during the retreat will apply to leadership experiences, preparation for transition, and recovery from military service.?The program will be facilitated by PJF staff with counseling and leadership coaching credentials. The target population is previous, current, and future GA squadron commanders, senior enlisted leaders, directors of operations, operations superintendents, and deployed leaders.?     Today our thoughts are with the family, friends and teammates of the seven men who died on March 15, 2018, in a HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter crash in western Iraq. The crew was comprised of: Capt.   • We're excited to kick off the PJF Backcountry Colorado Ski Retreat today! This guided trip entails daily backcountry movement (from 6 and 10 miles) between historic 10th Mountain Division huts in the Central Rockies.?The team will spend nights at elevations over 11,000 feet.?Participants should have intermediate skiing skills and be sufficiently injury-free. The program has been formed and shaped with input from Foundation partners anchored in the SOF and Pararescue Operational Psychology specialties and will be facilitated by staff with counseling and leadership coaching credentials.

  • In Loving Memory of Michael Michael Todd Ames, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away February 16, 2025, at 48. A retired Air Force Pararescueman, he served his country with unwavering dedication, completing over 20 deployments and embodying the true spirit of courage, sacrifice, and brotherhood.
