Highlight Project | Powers Health Rehabilitation Center The Powers Health Rehabilitation Center stands as a highlight of The Pangere Corporation’s work in healthcare construction. Selected as the General Contractor, we led the construction of this four-story, 129,000-square-foot, multi-specialty facility in Crown Point, Indiana. Alongside a team of 38 subcontractors and many suppliers, Pangere self-performed all carpentry work and the erection of the steel structure. Powers Health Rehabilitation Center offers state-of-the-art services in a welcoming environment. We’re proud to have contributed to a facility that is recognized as one of the best physical rehabilitation centers in the country. Highlight Project | Portage Fire Station No. 3 Designed and built to serve the community, Portage Fire Station No. 3 highlights The Pangere Corporation’s expertise in municipal construction. As the General Contractor, we led the construction of this classically designed, 13,593-square-foot, two-story facility, working alongside a team of skilled subcontractors. Pangere self-performed all rough and finished carpentry, including structural steel framing, interior framing and drywall, doors, frames and hardware, casework, lockers, and even the installation of a 36-foot brass sliding fireman's pole. This state-of-the-art fire station was built with durability and functionality in mind. The facility includes firefighter living quarters, administrative offices, a weight room, kitchen, and a second-floor patio, along with red four-fold apparatus bay door systems. We’re proud to have contributed to a facility designed to support first responders as they serve the community! This past week, our owner and employees from our specialty coatings division attended a two-day training program focused on the latest specialty coatings and resinous flooring systems. The training included hands-on sessions covering the use of advanced equipment, the chemical composition of these materials, and best practices. "This workshop introduced our team to the latest coatings, resinous flooring systems, and equipment, providing hands-on training in their application," said Steve Pangere, CEO of The Pangere Corporation. "At the end of the program, they earned certifications in specialized coating application." We’re proud of our team’s commitment to continuous learning and expertise in the field!

Last week, Purdue University Northwest held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newly renovated Women’s and Men’s Locker Rooms within the Fitness & Recreation Center. Made possible by the generous gifts of several donors, the locker rooms and support areas received a complete transformation from the original metal lockers and shag carpeting to custom wood lockers, flooring, restrooms, and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment to support film breakdown. Additionally, the walls received custom artwork and murals highlighting the athletes. “A locker room is a place where team camaraderie is built, and culture is enhanced,” stated Rick Costello, Director of Athletics. Pangere is honored to have provided the construction management for this project and is thrilled that the PNW athletes and staff now have a space like this. Lisa Sliva and Rosa Rozek were in attendance on behalf of Pangere.

We’re proud to partner with Powers Health and St. Catherine Hospital on an upcoming addition and renovation to their Emergency Department. This project will include: ● An 1,800-square-foot addition and a 5,000-square-foot interior renovation to the Emergency Department ● New triage rooms and a reception area ● Additional fast track rooms ● A dedicated behavioral health wing ● Exterior upgrades, including a new ER entrance with a 3,200-square-foot glass canopy This work will help St. Catherine Hospital enhance patient care and improve the efficiency of their Emergency Department. Ironworker John Webber retires after 30-plus years with The Pangere Corporation. John Webber celebrated his retirement on Wednesday with co-workers, family members, and Pangere’s leaders at the Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria in Crown Point, IN. During the evening, Steve Pangere, Chief Executive Officer, said “The Pangere Corporation would like to thank you, John and your family for your loyalty, hard work, and selfless dedication to the growth of our company.” Over the course of his career, John worked on the installation of steel for numerous projects at various regional steel mills, as well as many other buildings such as the four-story, 130,000 square-foot, Powers Health Rehabilitation Center. John was a natural leader. As field supervisor, his extensive knowledge of erecting structures, installing prefabricated components, and working with other trades was instrumental in the success of each project he managed.? He is a true craftsman and will be greatly missed.
