The 2025 #padel expo season is about to kick off, with the first stop being Racquet Trend in Milan, Italy two weeks from tomorrow -- and dozens of top U.S. padel pioneers and entrepreneurs will be in attendance. This includes Chris Klein of PickleballPadel who recently told me: "I’m thrilled to announce that I have been selected as a U.S. Ambassador for the prestigious Racquet Trend Expo. This incredible event brings together leaders in racquet sports from around the globe, and I’m honored to be part of it. At the expo, I will be speaking about introducing #pickleball to European markets, sharing insights and strategies to grow this rapidly expanding #sport internationally. Additionally, I’ll be collaborating with global padel companies to help them navigate entry into the U.S. market. My focus will be on integrating padel into existing pickleball facilities—an area where my extensive knowledge and experience can make a significant impact. It’s an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of both sports and to connect with industry innovators from around the world. I can’t wait to share what I learn and to continue driving the evolution of these dynamic sports!" The first two editions of Racquet Trend attracted over 40,000 people and this year promises to be even bigger with 21 courts for different #racketsports being set up across the venue's 30,000 sq. meters. Even more big U.S. #padel news out of Southern California as we recently learned that Christ Ishoo and Steve Shpilsky will soon be launching the LAPC - Los Angeles Padel Club -- which is billed as "LA's first permanent padel club" and will feature: ?? Seven padel courts (including two with tournament-regulation run-outs)... ?? A unique and historic 1920s clubhouse in West #LA... ?? 4,600 sq. ft. dedicated to luxury locker rooms, a co-working space, #health and #wellness areas, a pro shop, food and beverage options, and more... Furthermore, the LAPC will serve as the home of the Los Angeles Beat of the Pro Padel League and offer top-tier coaching for juniors and advanced level players alike. The star-studded, celebrity-fueled Reserve Cup in Miami, and... ?? The just-completed Hexagon Cup in Madrid, which was won by the team from KRü Esports and California-based TAKTIKA PADEL CENTER.
