We're proud to share that the OCONUS DMLSS (Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support) Program recently hosted an Advanced Training session in Japan. Over five days, the team dove deep into DMLSS Standard Operations, DMLSS Clean Up, Tips & Tricks, Data Integrity, and Customer Support excellence. To reinforce what they learned, they participated in a game of DMLSS Jeopardy, putting their new skills-and competitive spirit-to the test. As a unique cultural experience, the team stepped into a local glass-blowing studio, and each crafted their very own glass masterpiece. A huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible: our expert instructors, local hosts in Japan, and every team member who brought their energy and enthusiasm!

The DHA CADD Team visited Japan to conduct on-site surveys at Yokota Air Base, Camp Zama, Camp Fuji, and NAF Atsugi. While on-site, the team surveyed over 413,000 square feet and worked with facility staff to accurately update the facility drawings and associated data. The team enjoyed not only the hospitality of the installations where they worked but also the experiences that Japan had to offer. They worked diligently to complete the mission while also taking in the beauty of Japan and enjoying a variety of Japanese cuisine.

An extension of Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Moore, GA, the Eglin AFB Special Forces Troop Medical Clinic, serving medical, dental, orthopedic, and lab needs, recently received a much-needed waiting room furniture upgrade. The previous furniture, installed in 2014, had reached the end of its lifecycle and required replacement to maintain compliance with Joint Commission (TJC) standards. The new furniture is not only durable and wipeable to meet Infection Control regulations but also enhances the clinic's efficiency with improved seating capacity and a redesigned layout. These updates ensure a more comfortable and functional space for soldiers and personnel. We are grateful for the hard work and dedication of our IO&T Coordinator, Paige Karastury, who goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for the patients and staff at this facility.
