SMU is at the forefront of addressing the severe shortage of healthcare professionals in the Bay Area, and each year, they graduate over 1,000 nurses with an impressive 100% job placement rate. SMU consistently achieves the highest scores and educational benchmarks nationwide, and with the City Center Campus, they are poised to amplify this impact by doubling enrollment and graduation rates over the next ten years. ? This capital project will also bring substantial economic growth to the community, with an estimated $500 million annually added to the downtown Oakland economy.
