JNMLF All-Stars: This past season, we were blessed by author Danise DiStasi and her "Love Like Louie" book series. Danise has graciously provided links to an online storytime where you can have Danise and her family (and Louie!) read a few more books from the series, featuring Louie's Little Legs and the Magic of Kindness, and Louie's Little Legs and The Magic of Patience. This is a perfect character lesson just in time for the holidays, and a great way for your and your family to share some quality time over a wonderful story. We hope that this story lands on the desks and kitchen counters of dreamers who want to come alongside us and bring this project to life with their generosity. What does hope look like? It looks like a permanent, year-round home for athletes with special needs and disabilities. It looks like new sports, new health offerings, and new friendships. It looks like new adventures with features like a wheelchair zipline, accessible arcade, and interactive projection walls. And it looks like The Ole Lefthander's story on display and retold to future generations, inspiring ordinary Joes to do extraordinary things. This is The Hope Center: the next-on-deck and most ambitious dream of The Nuxhall Foundation to date. Within the walls of this building, we plan to spread hope by giving athletes of all abilities a place to shine. Today marks 17 years in his forever home, yet The Ole Lefthander’s impact shines brighter than ever. It’s all because Joe lived his life in a way where he never looked down to anyone—he always looked up to them. Joe, thank you for leaving us a legacy as legendary as your storied career. We miss you, but we know you’re rooting us on from above.

Kudos yet again to the family of our awesome allstar Riley Jo Fehring! They worked so hard to host the 4th Annual Team Riley Jo Golf Outing, and this morning presented us with a check for the proceeds—nearly $17,000!!! Riley’s family talked about the joy they get from coming to the fields, and we got a chance to share the joy we get to witness every time we watch her play! Fehring family, you continue to blow us away with your dedication, passion, and character. Thank you! And Riley—keep making us smile!

Today. Forever. Always. ???? ?? We honor the legacy and memory of Lance Corporal Taylor Prazynski and all of the men and women who serve our country with bravery, determination, and honor.

Before our most recent board meeting, a few of our members had the pleasure of enjoying a group dinner at MISSION BBQ (Mason, OH). It was a special treat for us because Lance Corporal Taylor Prazynski’s photo is proudly displayed within the restaurant. We are grateful for the hospitality shown to us by our friends at Mission BBQ—and the food was incredible! A perfect way to start our Veterans Day weekend. ?? ????
