For the fifteenth year, students from our Austin, San Antonio and San Marcos communities joined NRP team members to participate in Don Jones Legislative Day at the Texas State Capitol. Created to encourage civic engagement from an early age, the day includes a full tour of the capitol building, writing letters to elected officials and participation in a mock legislative sessions. The NRP Group and the Mesquite Housing Finance Corporation have officially broken ground on The Fielder, a 288-unit affordable housing community reserved for residents earning between 50 to 70 percent of the Area Median Income. The NRP Group has broken ground on Ross Road, a 328-unit mixed-income multifamily development in East Austin, Texas. Developed in partnership with Travis County Facilities Corporation and PointOne Holdings, half of the units will be reserved for residents earning between 60 to 80 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI).
