I’ve gathered members of The Nickley Group to tell you the story of how we came to be. It all started in a little 8-by-8 office. I recruited five agents who’d never helped someone buy or sell a home before. We were starting from scratch, but we had a big vision of what we wanted to do, and in our first year we sold over 100 homes worth almost $25 million. In September, The Nickley Group celebrated its 10th anniversary in style! ?? We kicked off the week with a mimosa bar at the Monday morning meeting, enjoyed a delicious lunch from Hawkers: Asian Street Food in Mills 50, and ended the day with a visit from Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream truck, Tom’s favorite! ???? It was a moment to reflect on our journey—from starting as a small team of five (who are still with us today!) to growing into Central Florida’s #1 real estate group with over 45 agents and an amazing admin team. Through the years, it's always been about more than just transactions—it's about building lasting relationships and making real estate personal, fun, and effortless. I've been in an ongoing prank war with one of the agents on our team, and this morning, I came in to the office to find my desk out in the front lobby. So naturally, I worked from here all day (mostly so she didn't get the satisfaction of knowing how greatly she won the war with this. Team culture has always been an absolute core value for us and who we are as a team. We work hard and we play hard while we do it. We have a blast in the midst of the chaos.
