In a spirit of camaraderie and friendly competition, the Bronx Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce have joined forces with a unique non-wagering agreement around the World Series matchup between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers! The agreement: Executives from the losing city’s chamber will don “I Love [Winning City]” shirts, along with Chamber-branded items, for five days (Nov 4-8) after the series wraps up. Daily photos will be shared on social media, adding a light-hearted twist that celebrates both cities. Both chambers believe in the positive influence of sports on local economies, as successful teams uplift community spirit, drive business growth, and boost tourism and job creation. We invite both communities to come together, support their teams, and celebrate the shared values that connect the Bronx and Los Angeles!

Bronx Community District 9 (CD 9) is now a designated BDD, covering the neighborhoods of Bronx River, Castle Hill, Clason Point, Harding Park, Parkchester, Park Stratton, Soundview, Soundview-Bruckner and Unionport.
