关于我们

THE NEUSTADT is a premier collection of Louis C. Tiffany’s celebrated lamps, windows, metalwork, and rare archival materials. The collection also boasts a unique Tiffany Glass Archive, comprised of over a quarter of a million pieces of original Tiffany flat glass and glass jewels. This allows The Neustadt to interpret its collections through the lens of materials and process, offering visitors an unparalleled opportunity to experience Tiffany glass. Dedicated to preservation, scholarship, education, and connoisseurship, the organization provides an in-depth look at the artistry of the Tiffany Studios and its contribution to the history of design in America. The Neustadt is committed to sharing this story and its collections with diverse audiences through public programs, publications, its gallery at the Queens Museum in New York City, and exhibitions that travel to museums nationwide.

  • Did you see this recent article in The New York Times about the exciting stained-glass survey taking place at Woodlawn Cemetery? Our Executive Director and Curator, Lindsy R. Parrott, is lending her expertise, along with other stained-glass scholars and conservators, to document treasured windows that, in some cases, haven't been seen for a century. The largest survey of American stained glass ever undertaken, this Indiana Jones-esque project involves examining, conditioning, and researching some 1,200 windows that decorate Woodlawn’s extraordinary mausoleums. Click the link below to read The New York Times coverage of this groundbreaking project and some of the discoveries made by the all-star team: Brianne Van Vorst, Principal, Liberty Stained Glass Conservation, LLC Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen, Curator of American Decorative Arts, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York Drew Anderson, Stained-Glass Conservator, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York Lindsy R.
