The Neighbors' Place

The Neighbors' Place is a grassroots non-profit organization founded in Wausau, Wisconsin with a simple mission: to be “People Helping People.” The organization has a strong multi-faith and multi-cultural heritage, and was founded in 1989 as a community center for people transitioning into the community or struggling to overcome a variety of hardships. Over the past 25 years, programs have evolved to include a Food Bank & Food Pantry, Furniture & Basic Needs Bank, Community Learning Center, Computer Lab, Community Garden, Wheels Again, Gift of Sight, Christmas Assistance, and more as the needs arise.
