  • As we gather around the dinner table this Thanksgiving, those dreaded political conversations might come up. At The Narrative Project, we rely on our Just Narratives Checklist to guide us in moments like these—and in everything we do. Our staff at TNP have some pro tips on how to communicate effectively this holiday season. Here are six questions to keep in mind: 1?? Is this necessary? 2?? Is this truthful and honest? 3?? Is this collaborative? 4?? Have we considered and/or included our most impacted community? 5?? Have we identified and addressed harmful and counter-narratives? 6?? Can we minimize harm and maximize just narratives any further? Let’s not just have conversations this Thanksgiving—let’s create meaningful change

  • Last Wednesday, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy joined a third of Senate Democrats in voting to withhold arms to Israel. Though the resolutions failed to pass, this marks a significant shift toward supporting a #ceasefire and arms embargo among the Connecticut delegation. Our State leaders remain cautiously neutral but the call for a ceasefire is louder than ever. Here's a quick look at where legislators stand now. ?? Contact your senator and representative today and urge them to support an end to the war on Gaza: ceasefire-now.com. #CeasefireNow #EndTheConflict #CTPolitics #AdvocacyForPeace
