The Mustard Seed Project

When life changes your direction, feel all your feelings. Sit in it, but don't stay in that place too long. You were made for a purpose, and a purpose it not just the job you do. I have been thinking about this for a long time now. We have been "conditioned" from such a young age, to figure out what we want to be when we grow up. We get asked this all the time and it is such a big question. When I work with clients I see all the time the concern that they have not figured it out, or they have somehow messed this up. The reality is, we can NEVER be our job, because our job is just something we do. It is NOT who we are. It is just how we make money. So, today, if you are down. If you are trying to figure out what to do next, consider a new question to ask yourself. "What problems do I enjoy, or want to solve?" First off, it takes away the pressure of trying to figure out what to be. You are already skillfully and wonderfully made. (Palms 139:14) ,and secondly, it allows you to explore new opportunities you may have not considered. Once you have done this, look for patterns, then look for work/jobs that solve the problems you care about. You are a mountain mover, you have a God that is for you! You are capable, and worthy. You only need faith as small as a mustard seed. Nothing will be impossible for you! Claim it, own it, receive it!
