Congratulations to #TMA member #SimpliSafe? on the achievement of its UL-listing for the ANSI/TMA Alarm Validation Scoring Standard (#TMAAVS01). ANSI/TMA-AVS-01 provides a standardized method of creating an alarm scoring or classification metric for unauthorized human activity detected by alarm systems. An alarm score results in a repeatable metric that estimates the validity or potential threat level of a burglar alarm activation using historical and real-time data. The score assists law enforcement with resource allocation and Call for Service prioritization. SimpliSafe is the third TMA member to achieve the certification. (Montreal, QB) and #ProTELEC Security + Safety Ltd. (Winnipeg, MB). Our newest Non-Listed Monitoring member is #Danner’s Security and Logistics, a fourth-generation family-owned business, based in Houston, TX. Forty-year-old #Metro Fire and Security began its journey by selling and servicing fire extinguishers. It became a Services Provider member in January. Lastly, The Royal Ontario Museum (#ROM), which is considered among the top 10 cultural institutions in North America, joined as a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Monitoring member.
