CEO of The Modern SDR | I Help Normal People Learn + Master Sales

I've sold $5.3M by age 24 and plan to sell $10M in the next 12 months… (Steal my 5 powerful non-negotiables to grow your skills + income) 1. Focus on one big goal and the 100 daily inputs required to hit that goal. ?? Use the rule of 100 to achieve that one goal. E.g: 100 dials a day. 100 follow ups a day. This brings 1 sale. 2. Cut out bad habit friends ? Make space for people who bring value instead. Closing one door often means 100 new ones open. 3. Gameify your life and work ? See tasks as game "levels" You played Call of Duty or Mario for hours as a kid. Learn to love leveling up as much as you did in the game. No matter how hard the levels got, it was worth it. 4. Raise the bar for everything you do ? Upgrade often, chase excellence always. E.g: Review your day, and ask yourself: "Is this the best I could've been today?" If yes: then do it all again. If not, then try harder the next day. Stop settling for average, please. 5. Disappear and remove all distractions. ? You don't lack talent, you lack focus Delete social media or change your work environment. Make it easy for you not to be distracted daily. From someone who did all these: it's hard, but worth it. CEO of The Modern SDR | I Help Normal People Learn + Master Sales

2018: Sophomore at Vanderbilt University, not knowing my path after college. 2024: Sold $5.3M online, running a team of 25+ people, helping 839+ students inside The Modern SDR. Here's exactly how I got here (without a 9-5 consulting job or investment banking gig): As an aspiring entrepreneur, I had no "relevant" experience to getting a job after college. I stuttered during interviews and was terrified of them. Most job fairs seemed like a complete nightmare to attend. So I decided to learn how to sell instead. If I was to start again, I'd... 1. Focus on learning everything about sales. ? Emotional intelligence - what makes people tick and make decisions. ? Asking skilled questions - listen deeply and make people feel understood. ? Practice mock calls with other students of the game. 2. Find a high-ticket business owner selling a digital product worth $5,000+. ? Use FindCreators io, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, or Skool to find business owners. ? Record a personalized video showcasing your experience and results you can drive for that business. ? Share mock calls or other experience with sales you have and come from a genuine place. 3. Have a clear photo and bio. ? High-quality profile pic (first impressions matter). ? Simple bio and banner stating what you do and your experience. I broke this down to a science here: https://lnkd.in/g628-p6X 4. Message business owners daily until you land a sales gig.? ? List 100 people who you'd love to work with. ? Send them PERSONALIZED videos and messages. To get the sales gig? Make sure your videos and messages are relevant to them. Effort over perfection, show them your potential! This is exactly how I would land a sales gig making me $10k/month starting over from zero. And how now I've sold over $5.3M online. ?? Repost this post and I'll send you over my 40-minute course to learn sales for FREE!

CEO of The Modern SDR | I Help Normal People Learn + Master Sales

I stuttered for 10 years and was terrified of job interviews. I overthought the smallest details and because of that, felt stuck. ?? What will the recruiter think? ?? What will they say behind my back? ?? What is the worst-case scenario? Here's what I realized after now selling $5.3M of "stuff" online and over the phone, along with running 200+ interviews for my own business, by the age of 24: 1. Specific skills matter way more than any resume will. I'd rather someone be extremely talented at one thing, rather than 10 different things. 2. Small mistakes and mess-ups in an interview don't matter and will be overlooked, as long you have the specific skill set someone is hiring for and are even somewhat likable. 3. Any people I haven't hired, I don't see in a negative light at all. There is just another role or gig that is better for them. Business is business and I wish I never took things personally back when I was thinking of applying for jobs. 4. The majority of jobs are easily replaceable. Even if I was hired, if I stopped bringing in money for a company, I would be let go pretty quickly. The only jobs that you can protect yourself with are ones you can generate money for others. Think of consulting, investment banking, and sales. (I just personally like sales because you don't need a fancy degree to get started with it.) Stop trying to be the "perfect" fit when you're applying for jobs. You are as much scouting out a company and seeing if they're a good fit for you, as much as they are with you. It's a two-way street. PS: I still have fears and insecurities, but push through them anyways. What did you push through today? #motivation #recruiting
