#WeDidItAgain! ?? The 12th edition of #WorldFuturesDay is over, and once again, there is so much to reflect on after 24 hours of free discussion about the future. From inspiring ideas to bold visions, experts and enthusiasts from around the globe came together to explore what lies ahead. One key takeaway from this year’s discussions is that while we need to be realistic, we also absolutely need hope—contagious hope—because we have a sort of responsibility and wish not to give up. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their insights, dreams, and challenges. The journey toward a better tomorrow continues, and your voices make all the difference! Just off the midday CET #WorldFuturesDay call and it was a wonderful melange of a discussion about community, network, hope, scenarios that respond to the second-by-second complexity/post-truth world we live in, the power and passion of Gen-Z, standing with Ukraine after last-night's disgraceful antics from the USA. #foresight #optimism #hope

What a wonderful global exchange, learning and call for a "positive future scenario" action we had within 12th #worldfuturesday on March 1! Huge Congrats to the The Millennium Project with partnering organizations Association of Professional Futurists - APF World Academy of Art and Science Lifeboat Foundation and participants on behalf of Power for Change | Moc za spremembo ?????? Some inspiration gems to ☆ take a "positive future scenario" action & ☆ be, lead, co-create and #lead the #change you/we want to see, live, leave so we can live better ?????? "If you don't offer a positive alternative you're just wasting anyone's time. Don't waste anyone's time. Look and showcase a positive alternative. What's the alternative of what's not working? What's the #vision of a better future? How it can work?..." Jerome Glenn ?????? "We can be there for younger generations, allow them to test things out, offer love and support, listen and encourage them. There can always be a better way if we approach with love, curiousity, empathy, and develop critical thinking. These are the skills future generations will need (need to develop)." Shams Hamid ?????? "There's a power in our language, in words we use, how we express ourselves, how we interact, and what gets lost in translation." Schools shouldn't be boring, an environment where you "get fixed mindset", closing off your creativity, gifts, joy. We need to allow and enhance creativity, play, fun while learning, seeking for answers." Shermon Cruz ?????? "We need to teach younger generations to develop a skill to ask questions like "what if", "how it can work", think out of the box. Allow them to ask 'crazy' and 'stupid' questions, to be in inquiry and not forcing them to memorize, getting it right..." Dana Marduk ?????? "We really need to move from I/Me to WE. It's about how we can better think and act as We, communicating in our own language, understanding each other, and working better together. It's now possible, with the help of technology, and our willingness. How can we do it?" Heiner Benking ??????
