IN ONE WEEK, MIPP is hosting our annual Progressive Policy Summit on April 3rd from 6:30pm to 9:30pm in the Betty Ford Room at the Ford School of Public Policy. NOTE THAT THIS IS A LOCATION AND TIME CHANGE.
The purpose of the Progressive Policy Summit is to platform the work the Michigan Institute of Progressive Policy has accomplished. Additionally, the Summit is an opportunity to uplift and display the work of others in our community that embody MIPP’s values of empowering progress and enriching Michigan. Essentially, this event is a way for policy-aligned groups on campus to collaborate and share their progress with each other.
This year, we are proud to announce our keynote speaker, Former US Representative Andy Levin!! Along with 10 groups from here on campus: Ann Arbor for Public Power, Food Recovery Network, Ann Arbor Tenants Union, Justice InDeed, The Environmental Consulting Organization at UM, The ACLU Undergraduate Chapter at UM, College Democrats at UM, End the Cycle, Prison Birth Project, and Students for Clean Energy at UM.
