A huge thanks from The Mentor Exchange to our mentors (Flavio De Stefano, Isabella Silveira, Alina Ditu) who, over the past few weeks, shared not just their knowledge but their time and real experiences. You’ve made meaningful connections and offered guidance that goes beyond just skills. In a world where most connections happen online, it was refreshing to see the power of real, face-to-face mentoring. It’s not just about career advice; learning a new skill, it’s about being there, helping students navigate their own paths, and encouraging them to grow. We might not see the full impact right away, but know your efforts have left a lasting impression. We hope you had fun, and we look forward to seeing you again in the spring. Thanks for making a difference.

Cara Italia, non smettere mai di essere te stessa. Why do people love coming to Italy? Is it the history, the food, the nature, the fashion? It’s all that and more. It’s the people. It’s how they make you feel when you’re here. Follow us as we gear up for the second edition of the Mentor Exchange this October, where four incredible mentors will come to Italy to help students prepare for their future. Don’t wait for someone else—it’s your turn to take someone’s hand and be their guide today.

People all over the world are buying into the idea of using their skills to mentor and develop students. It's great to see and congrats to Prokope Akademy for another successful program!
KLF is honoured to support and fund Prokope – an organisation that donates 10% of its revenue to meaningful projects in southeast Asia. We’re all about CSR models that actually make an impact, so, we’re incredibly happy and proud to see the results of Prokope’s latest campaigns. “Life is partly what we make it, and partly what it is made by the friends we choose.” — Tennessee Williams We've always believed the best part of work is the relationships it builds and the friendships that come with it. The journey of The Mentor Exchange was built by friends who we've met along the way. This week, we're thrilled to welcome Darnel Clayton to Rome. A friend and mentor, Darnel's arrival marks the beginning of an inspiring chapter for a group of high school students eager to dive into the world of software engineering. There's no one better suited to join us on this adventure and bring his gift and experience to students here in Rome. As we say in Italy, "in bocca al lupo Darnel." Follow Darnel Clayton to watch his journey unfold. A presto! #mentorship #workbasedlearning #dolcevita #rome #herewego ??

We recently spoke to a group of teachers about their students and the potential impact of work based learning. We asked one important question. What is preventing you from bringing work based learning into your school today? The resounding response. ACCESS. Our education systems were not designed to constantly evolve with industry and the people we need to help our students prepare for life and a career are not available. We look to break down those barriers that separate professionals and students, companies and schools. Join us as we help shape the future and use your skills to make the difference in someone's life.

Recent research shows less than 40% of students are confident in finding relevant work experience in relation to their studies, and fewer than half understand how to pursue their career paths. The Mentor Exchange aims to bridge this gap, offering support in career development through experienced professionals and work based learning in the classroom. How many of you can relate? Who's ready to join us in making a difference? #CareerDevelopment #StudentSuccess #MentorExchange
