After an incredible journey in the optical industry, Joe Cipriano is officially retiring from The McGee Group, where he has made a lasting impact over the last 12 years. Joe’s story began in 1997 when he entered the optical world, and since then, he’s touched countless lives with his passion, dedication, and leadership. Over the years, Joe has become a beloved figure—both for his expertise and for the warmth and positivity he brings to every team he’s been part of. But Joe’s talents don’t stop at sales leadership. Joe also boasts a remarkable background in film, television, and voice acting. While Joe will be taking some well-deserved time to enjoy life, we know this active, vibrant, and inspiring individual won’t be slowing down for long. Retirement will undoubtedly be filled with relaxation, but also with new adventures on the horizon. Joe, thank you for everything you’ve contributed to The McGee Group and to the many colleagues, partners, and friends you’ve made along the way. Wishing you nothing but the best in this exciting next chapter. Here’s to you, Joe!

We were excited to welcome students from SCAD's Luxury and Brand Management program to The McGee Group's home office! It was a great opportunity to share valuable insights into the eyewear industry, including a hands-on look at the process of crafting eyeglass frames. We were truly inspired by this group of future leaders and are proud to support their academic journey.

Today, we celebrate the accomplishments of Bart Floyd over the past 15 years with The McGee Group as he begins the next chapter of his life in retirement. Bart has been an instrumental part of the team, mentoring countless colleagues and inspiring many across the industry with his dedication, leadership, and kindness. While we will deeply miss his presence and guidance, we couldn't be happier for him as he finally has the time to perfect his swing on the golf course. Bart, your legacy at The McGee Group and within the industry will always be remembered.

Last week, The McGee Group wrapped up our 2024 National Sales Meeting, and what an incredible experience it was! With the theme "Win as One," our national sales team came together from across the U.S. to celebrate, connect, and share in the excitement of the year ahead. It was a time of fellowship, fun, and collaboration, as well as an opportunity to learn about our exciting new product releases and key company updates.
