State CIO Jason Snyder emphasized the purpose and importance of these recruitments, indicating this “will most likely be a continuing expansion as needs arise.” “We are looking at building a broad data and analytics program for Massachusetts to improve the constituent experience by allowing all the decision-makers across all the secretariats to get to their data in an accurate, timely, easily [digestible] manner so that they can continue to monitor the outcomes that we’re trying to achieve through policy updates,” Snyder said. https://lnkd.in/g-m_5hyc

Secretary Snyder was excited to join Tuesday's StateScoop roundtable to discuss how the state is embracing cloud migration and what it all means for the future of service delivery in Massachusetts. Learning from others' experiences, use cases, and challenges and opportunities associated with cloud computing has helped Massachusetts become a leader in state adoption of cloud technology, and we are so thankful for opportunities like this to collaborate and share what we've learned!

Secretary Snyder returned to his Alma Mater today, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he toured the Quantum Research Center. He was joined by our Chief Technology Officer Bill Cole and Chief Operations Officer Don Chamberlain, along with University and New York State officials. Emerging technology is a key focus area for the Healey-Driscoll Administration and we are excited to learn more about this evolving research and how innovation can keep driving Massachusetts forward!
